North Mitrovica political art 3: "KLA [Kosovo Liberation Army]"; I didn't expect to see this here.
After the Serbian nationalist government's violations of minorities' human rights created community divisions and drove those minority communities to seek autonomy, the human rights violations committed by a minority of the KLA and its allies' members deepened the existing divisions.
Now, in the divided city of Mitrovice/Mitrovica, the community is segregated into increasingly nationalist, increasingly sectarian communities; there is an overwhelmingly Albanian community south of the river and an overwhelmingly Serb community north of the river.
So, I'm surprised that this graffiti tag for the predominantly Albanian secessionist movement hasn't been erased; I don't know quite what to make of the fact that it hasn't.
